• Operate and improve the BigKid Words App
• Personalize the app experience for users based on Non-PII data (e.g., language preference, frequently used features)

Voice Recordings and Text Processing

We anonymize voice recordings, transcriptions and text input used within the App. These recordings and text are not processed by our own local AI system. Instead, they are sent to and processed by OpenAI, a leading artificial intelligence research and development company. OpenAI's technology helps power the core learning and language processing functionalities within the App, such as speech recognition and text analysis. However, please note that OpenAI does not collect or store any personal information that can identify you from the anonymized data we send.

Your Choices

Parents or guardians have choices regarding their information:

• Access and review your email address associated with the account (if applicable)
• Opt out of anonymized voice transcription collection (if applicable)
• Request to delete your email address associated with the account (if applicable)

Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services to provide certain functionalities within the BigKid Words App. These services may have their own privacy policies, which we will encourage you to review, as applicable.
